Welcome to term two 2017.
This term starts with a roll of 46 and many fun activities.
The students are practicing hard for their winter sports teams. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful community of parents who are willing to give up their time to coach our students.
We have joined forces with Te Pohue School and have 3 netball teams this year.
We have 16 students attending the Barefoot 7s tournament at Akina Park in May and many other opportunities for students to participate in.
The student's have set up clubs three days a week with cooking, science, art, rugby, basketball and writing.
Our cluster speech competition is on Friday 30th June at the Waikare Complex and our children are preparing for this event.
Our chooks have stopped laying for the moment but our winter fruit and veges are coming on in our gardens. We have some very keen gardeners amongst us!
We now have a new school uniform for Tutira School and the students are looking very smart in their navy polo shirts. Blue track pants and embroidered black hoodies are on their way!
The fires are keeping the children snug in the classrooms - and of course our resident puss 'Pounce'.
Feel free to pay us a visit - you would be most welcome.
